This book has been my warm breeze these past few weeks. I love her descriptions of their everyday life summering in Italy - making their meals, working on their old house, taking little jaunts here and there. Just opening it up again brings bees buzzing around my head and summer sounds and scents.
With winter still clinging to our backs with chapped hands, more baby weight gain than I'm comfy with, and a bathroom tear-out/hallway re-do that just won't get done (no matter how much really hard wishing I do), I have needed a warm escape and the lovely Miss Frances has provided it for me.
Thanks, thanks, and ever thanks to her.
Are you reading anything lovely you'd like to share? I may definitely need more feel-good books.
