Since I'm hoping to turn this massive bolt of burlap and these prints into cute flower-trimmed porch curtains by Sunday.
Never mind that I h..a..t..e.. to sew. We have an open house planned on Sunday and lots of busyness has to be checked off the To Do list before then. Several friends have mentioned wanting to see our house since we've done a lot of fixing up. And I figured having everyone over on one day would keep me from having to pick up and clean multiple times for multiple visitors.
Fortunately for me the curtains are actually basically a cutting and iron-on project. But still. I think I was seduced by the cute colors of the fabrics...
and getting to buy Stitch Witchery type stuff. I'm thinking I've bitten off more than I can possibly chew. I blame my overzealousness mostly on the fact that I just like the rhyming fun of saying Stitch Witchery. I could go around the house bobbing my head side to side and saying that all day long. And what I bought isn't even called that but I think it's what my Grandma always calls it.
If nothing else I did get a cute little sign made to put on the front door and invite people in.
That's something.
